Genesis expanding in the UK and US

Noel O’Hanlon, CEO of Genesis Automation Ltd, today announced that a further 20 jobs will be created across the group as part of their continued expansion across the UK and US markets.

“There’s an accelerating global trend towards applying state of the art mobile and analytics technologies to support clinicians, automate healthcare delivery and enable value based healthcare” said O’Hanlon, “Genesis are at the vanguard of these trends with innovative value-chain solutions that hold the key to healthcare providers managing the growing cost and demand of healthcare in new ways, at the same time as improving safety and outcomes for patients”

Two key appointments have been Scott Pryde now European General Manager and Guillermo Ramas CEO of North America.

In the UK Scott will be responsible for the expansion and development of Genesis’ innovative analytics and point of care traceability solutions.

Scott has either led, or been closely involved with many of the largest UK healthcare procurement analytics and transformation initiatives. He has expertise in healthcare analytics, supply chain management, patient and product level traceability, as well as clinical software and medical technology markets.

Scott has worked both within the NHS and also in the high-tech electronic manufacturing and software industries. He has held a number of different roles including; strategic procurement, supply chain management, business development, software and analytics consulting.

Before joining Genesis in 2016, Guillermo served as Executive Vice-President for Zynx Health, a leader of evidence- and experience-based products and services for the Healthcare industry.

Guillermo was also vice president, Information and Data Services, at Novation (now Vizient), with responsibility for the sales and global business development of Novation’s analytical solutions, and prior to this, served as Vice President, Information and Data Services, Strategy and Product Development, with responsibility for all hospital-facing source-to-settle applications, analytics and mobile strategies. Having joined VHA (Novation’s parent company) in 2007 as Senior Director for Product Design, Ramas was instrumental in the development and design of price-benchmarking solutions and other analytics applications leading to the development of Novation’s source-to-settle suite.
